How do I list my trade business on Sleepless Tradesman?
Go to the Get Listed page and create a free profile in a few minutes. Add your trade, location, services, hourly rate, and a short bio. Your profile appears in the directory immediately and is visible to homeowners searching for your trade in your area. No annual fee, no commission on jobs.
Is it really free to list on Sleepless Tradesman?
Yes — creating a public profile and appearing in the tradesman directory is completely free. There are no lead credits to buy, no annual membership fee, and no commission taken on jobs you win. The free listing is permanent, not a trial. Paid plans add job management, AI quoting, invoicing, and accounting tools.
How is this different from Checkatrade or MyBuilder?
Checkatrade charges £600–£1,500/year for a listing and sends you leads. MyBuilder uses a credit system where you pay to respond to job requests. Sleepless Tradesman is free to list and doesn't charge per lead — homeowners find your profile directly and contact you. You're not competing in a bidding system; your profile stands on its own.
What information should I include in my profile?
At minimum: your trade, service area, a clear description of the work you do, your hourly or day rate, and at least one photo of your work. Profiles with a photo and rate information get significantly more views than incomplete ones. If you have trade certifications (Gas Safe, NICEIC, CSCS), add those too — they build trust with homeowners.
Which trades can list on Sleepless Tradesman?
Any skilled trade is welcome: plumbers, electricians, builders, roofers, gas engineers, joiners, carpenters, plasterers, tilers, painters and decorators, landscapers, handymen, bathroom fitters, kitchen fitters, HVAC engineers, flooring specialists, and locksmiths. If your trade isn't listed, you can still create a profile under General Tradesman.
